LifeHouse Ministries is a family of believers in Port Alfred who love and pursue Jesus. We are always expectant for the town, and anyone who enters through our doors, to be touched and transformed by and for God’s glory!
Pastor Kyle – “My prayer, going into ministry, was always that if one life can get changed it would be enough and make everything I do worth it. Today, my heart is still the same. We do, of course, see many lives transformed and impacted by God and keep believing for more, but Jesus still rejoices over that one precious life that He gains.”
As a family, we aim to walk a journey alongside each person who comes to worship and fellowship with us. God’s desire for His bride is unity and for us to edify one another. We believe in the Gospel together, not alone.
The church is a vital part of Jesus, since all of us make up His body and He is the head of the church (Col 1:18). What a beautiful picture of unity, which is what Jesus prayed for in John 17:21, “That they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.”
Ministry is not contained inside the four walls where we meet for services, but flows out into communities. Church is about equipping the saints for the work of the ministry, which means each one of us is enabled to step out and minister to the lost. We walk in love and authority and we are called to be the manifest display of Jesus on earth.
“I have come as a Light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness.” – John 12:46
Going back to the heartbeat of our mission:
We cannot reveal Jesus to the world without knowing Him intimately.
